Welcome to the Lowcountry:
There is something about the seasons that truly evokes a sense of what living in the Lowcountry is all about. From the breathtaking views, to the days spent on the water or the golf course, the various communities here have something for everyone who wishes to call the Lowcountry home. We would like to share with you these special places in which we live and work.
Belfair continues to attract a wide variety of new owners who are discovering a delightful and unique lifestyle. The two Fazio golf courses regularly receive accolades and praise from the fortunate golfers who have played them. Building in Belfair continues at a rapid pace, and previously owned homes and homesites are being purchased as a new wave of people discovers this gem in the Lowcountry.
Berkeley Hall, the Lowcountry home for core golf, is the newest of the three pure golf plantations in our area. A concierge service for the membership provides expanded menus, day trips to the island and boating, among other activities. Golf on the two Fazio courses provides a constant and enjoyable challenge for the membership.
Colleton River Plantation officially opened the new Nicklaus Club House in 2010. The facility provides a new level of excellence at Colleton River. The membership has embraced it and is becoming acquainted with the outstanding facilities and events now offered. The Dye and Nicklaus golf courses combine to provide outstanding challenges and are in excellent condition for the membership to enjoy. The club is adding activities and functions to its schedule, including day trips to special events, theater, fishing, cultural and historical locations in our local area. Colleton is unique in that it has a community deep water dock access.
For the non-golfer, the Lowcountry is all about the water. That is why Hampton Lake, a new development, was created and is now open for business. Back Water Bill’s Bar & Grill and the Boat House and gift shop are now open. The spa and fitness center are truly outstanding and provide excellent spa treatments and supervisory services for fitness activities. The pool area and beach are reminiscent of a luxury class hotel, are available for members to use. Hampton Lake is truly unique to this area. Business is booming at this newest treasure in the Lowcountry. It is time to get on the lake and participate in the activities that are part of this special place.
